The STIHL HSE 42 electric hedge trimmer is ideal for shaping and trimming branches and thinner twigs. Weighing just 3 kg, this tool offers low vibration and allows easy, fatigue-free operation even during extended use.

The two-handed control ensures convenient and simple handling for both right- and left-handed users. The single-edged blades deliver precise cuts. The fixed impact protector shields the blade tip from damage when working near walls or the ground.

Built-in cutting protection and a small handguard help ensure safe operation. The mechanical blade brake stops the cutting blades within one second of releasing the trigger. A strain relief system for the cable ensures that the plug won’t disconnect unintentionally when the machine is pulled.

The STIHL HSE 42 model can be equipped with an optional clippings collector plate, available separately.
